If you have a complaint or concern about the service you have received from the dentist or any staff please let us know. We operate a Practice Complaints procedure as part of an NHS system for dealing with complaints.
How to complain
We hope that most problems can be sorted out easily and quickly, at the time they arise and with the person concerned. If your problem cannot be sorted out in this way you may wish to make a complaint, we would like you to let us know as soon as possible.
Patient to put complaint in writing to Mr Gary Bethune (Complaints Officer).
If the complaint cannot be sorted out immediately written acknowledgement of receipt of the complaint will be sent to the patient within 2 working days.
An investigation into the complaint will follow within 10 working days.
If required a meeting or telephone call with the patient raising the complaint may be arranged.
Confirmation regarding the decision of the complain will be sent to the patient on completion of the investigation. If longer time is required the patient will be told.
If the matter is not resolved within the practice the patient will be informed regarding NHS complaints procedure (contact local Dental Health Board or the Dental Complaints Service for private patients)
