Securely Replace Missing Teeth

Dental Implants
Implants are an excellent way to permanently restore missing teeth. Unlike dentures implants are fixed directly into your bone, giving your security and peace of mind when eating. If you have multiple missing teeth, an implant retained denture may be an ideal way to securely restore your smile.
One of our dentists, Luke Fisher-Brown, currently offers implants to our patients. He utilises a number of different implant systems and would be delighted to discuss your options.
Benefits of Dental Implants
- Preserve Jawbone and Facial Structure: They act like a natural tooth root, stimulating the jawbone and preventing the bone loss (resorption) that typically occurs after a tooth is lost. This helps maintain your natural facial contours and avoids a “sunken” appearance.
- Natural Look, Feel, and Function: They are a fixed, permanent solution that look, feel, and function like your own teeth, restoring full biting and chewing ability.
- Highly Durable and Long-Lasting: With proper care, the titanium implant itself can last a lifetime, making them a very reliable, long-term investment compared to dentures or bridges that may need replacing sooner.

FAQs
Do implants hurt?
Local anaesthetic is used to make the procedure entirely comfortable. Some patients may also prefer to have sedation and this can be arranged as required.
Do implants look like regular teeth?
Implants are the most natural looking way to replace missing teeth.
Can implants replace all my teeth?
When you are missing most or all of your teeth, implant retained dentures may be a good solution for you. These are typically smaller than normal dentures and securely held in place by implants.
